Good morning Tom, thanks for creating this garden/culture tour. It was an eye opening experience for me. I really enjoyed the garden and farm tours, love to see tropical flowering trees, we don’t get that here in N.S.
The accommodation and food was great and some were outstanding(Havana and Veradero). The entertainment at the hotel in Havana was fun as well, the synchronized swimming was fantastic! Thanks again for arranging the tour. Really enjoyed Eric and Angel as well. Your so lucky you all connected years ago.

We immensely enjoyed the Cuba Garden and Cultural tour. Thank you so much for curating these marvelous experiences for us! Eric and Angel contributed so much to our enjoyment of Cuba and we are especially grateful to Eric for his interesting and passionate commentary on Cuban life and history. The gardens and natural landscapes of Cuba are gorgeous and we hope to be there again. Until then, we have many memories and the photo tour that Eric created for us. I am hoping to share some of Cuba’s beauty with our horticultural society. So far I have received positive feedback on my idea for a theme concerning the organic nature of Cuban agriculture and the fact that Cubans love plants and have them everywhere! This won’t be presented until 2020 because this year’s speakers are already lined up but there is one photo I could never get. From the bus, we saw many small, ordinary, houses that had yards just filled with gorgeous plants. If you have such a shot, I would love to have it.

As promised, Ray and I want to share some personal comments about our Cuba trip, and hope that you find them both inspiring and constructive. We absolutely loved everything about the trip. It exceeded our expectations even though both of us had already experienced the “real Cuba” with you, Erick, and Angel. It was exciting for us to revisit sites, people and beaches that we fell in love with previously. Especially exciting for me to visit the potter in Trinidad – I truly appreciate how much care Ray took to get that first vase back home to me.
And then, there were the firsts for us both which enriched our love for Cuba. We really do think that for those folks on this trip who had never been to Cuba before, and were seasoned travellers, absolutely got the very best itinerary you could ask for. And we heard that comment many times – the people who booked the trip to experience Cuba got that and so much more.
Thanks again to you, Erick and Angel for a wonderful Cuban experience – we consider you all friends, and wish you all the very best always.
Our home is open to you all, should you ever be our way.

-Hi all- I arrived home safe and warm from Cuba to -30 …brr , but we were warm today,only -23. Thanks Tom for a great tour ,and even your jokes 🤣 Lol . Was a great tour of Cuba, seen more of Cuba that I would have never seen in a resort! Sorry Tom but I can’t find my Newfie joke book that I said I would send you but you can order it on Amazon. Erick , you were absolutely awesome with all your knowledge and personality, you certainly gave us a personal proud view of your country 💖Angel , you kept us safe with your great driveing with some of our twists and turns in the mountains 🙀 Also thanks for keeping us hydrated 🍻🍺🤣You all are an awesome team !! Was so very awesome to meet all of you on this tour !! Ray and Kim , 4 hours shovelling , holy xxxx 🙀 Stuart and Linda , oh, I bet Badger was happy to see you as I bet you were as happy to see him !!! I am attending a luncheon for meals on wheels on the 12th so will say hi to your friend’s . Peggy Asher-Yes Bob and I along with the rum, conch and pottery arrived home intact. We had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed our experience as well as meeting an incredible group of people. The tour was everything we imagined (or hoped) it would be as well as a few extras thrown in. Tom, you have put together an incredible team (yourself, Angel & Eric) and this has provided the opportunity for a seamless, well organized and truly an informative and insightful look at Cuba.

To you, Eric and Angel “thank-you” for making our 2 week tour of Cuba fun, informative and a real hoot with a great bunch of people. Linda attended her volunteer job today and informed her co-workers of how great the tour was and some of them showed keen interest and recorded your website address. Linda and I truly enjoyed your company and even some of your jokes! Especially the ones about your Daaaawg! Saturday March 2nd will be our 57th wedding anniversary and we wish we could celebrate it the way we did Linda’s 75th birthday. Surrounded with good friends, great food and lots of laughs. We enjoyed everyone on the tour and trust you all got home safe and sound! Maybe we’ll meet again someday!
Thanks for all your efforts on making Linda’s birthday as she said “the best one ever”.

-Doug and I very much enjoyed the tour. Everyday was some sort of adventure. The people on the tour were terrific. We saw and learned about the real Cuba. It was a real pleasure travelling with you, Eric and Angel. You three made us feel welcome, and the trip was very educational. It made us think about how well we have things in Canada. We will be thinking of you 3 while seeing out winter here in the Comox Valley. Cheers. Barb and Doug.
-We got home no problem . We are back to normal . It was great to meet you and Ray . We enjoyed the trip especially the tour leader, Tom and all his funny jokes. Eric, our guide is a very knowledgeable person about his country . Then there is Angel a fantastic driver who kept us safe .

Hi Tom – sorry to respond so late to your request for feedback. I started this a few weeks ago and then forgot about it. Oops!
Anyway, here goes:
#1 As always on any trip I do, the enjoyment becomes all about the people I meet. It was truly a pleasure to meet the group and I can see why you have repeat customers. You are a huge part of why people want to do the tour again (and again).
#2 Angel & Eric are wonderful components of your tour – they really add to the positive atmosphere that you have created.
#3 The route we took was perfect and although I have been to many of the places we visited – I enjoyed seeing them again in a new light.
#4 The accommodations were in general a step up from my norm and I enjoyed the ‘pampered’ feel of it.
#5 Despite having issues with peppers and it being pepper season in Cuba I was able to enjoy my food without ill effects thanks to the assortment of food offered.
#6 Although I had issues with my bike which made the cycling, at times, a bit painful and cut down on the distance I could cycle each day – the concept of exploring a country while cycling is something I’d like to do again. It was awesome to have the comfort of the bus when I needed to get off the bike.
I think you have put together a wonderful trip and it was super to meet you. I hope that you will continue to introduce people to Cuba and it’s special people.
Question: There was talk about a flash or CD of photos that Eric took. I wasn’t with you at the end of the trip and wonder if there was a flash or CD that Eric presented to everyone (except me)?
